Suit Will Go to Trial

A Minnesota discrimination lawsuit will head to trial after a federal judge refused to issue an immediate ruling as requested by the Hibbing Taconite company. James Edstrom accuses the company of denying him employment at its mine because he is deaf. The judge says there is enough evidence to suggest the claim should be hear. Hibbing Taconite says Estrom isn't qualified and his deafness could put others at risk, but he had already gotten experience working at another mining company.
