Pro Pitcher Earns Another Win

Ryan Ketchner is getting closer to the Major Leagues. The deaf pitcher plays for the Triple-A farm club of the Detroit Tigers, the Toledo Mud Hens. He pitched six shutout innings in last night's game against the Rochester Red Wings to earn the win. Ketchner is now 2-2 on the year with a 2.83 ERA. The 28 year old is playing for his 4th baseball organization since turning pro in 2000.
