Hearing Loss Hits Couples

When someone suffers unexpected hearing loss, close relationship are affected more than anything else. That’s the finding of an online survey by the Harris Corporation. The cochlear implant maker says 54% of more than 2500 adults say they have been frustrated by people who showed no consideration for their hearing loss. A third said they felt really annoyed and 18% said they were ignored. Only a fifth of them were aware of the treatments available.
